Melinda holds a BM from William Patterson University and a MM from Manhattan School of Music. She performed numerous scenes at both schools. Some of her favorite roles include Norina in Don Pasquale, Mimi in La Boheme, Susannah in The Marriage of Figaro, and Manon in Manon.
Melinda also attended the Music Academy of the West where she studied with Marilyn Horne and Warren Jones. There she performed Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro and Marzelline in Fidelio as well as recitals. She has a passion for art song and has performed many recitals in the NJ, NY, and MD area. She sings regularly at local Baltimore synagogues and churches and just finished the role of Myrt in Carmen Jones with Winterlane Productions.
Melinda is thrilled to be making her debut with Center Stage Opera as Ines in Il Travatore. Melinda's "day job" is as an Account Executive with Citimortgage. She lives with her husband, Greg, and two cats in Hampstead, MD.
