Kim O'Bryan performs in opera, musical theater, oratorio and chorally as a chamber musician. This is her third season performing with Center Stage Opera, appearing previously as The Mother in Menotti's Amahl and The Night Visitors, Emilia in Verdi's Otello, and Clothilde in Bellini's Norma. Ms. O'Bryan has appeared as a soloist with The Bach Concert Series of Baltimore, The Handel Choir of Baltimore, The Lyric Opera of Southern Maryland, Opera Lancaster, The Harford Choral Society, The Harrisburg Choral Society (PA), The Herb Dimmock Singers in Baltimore, The Virginia Summer Choral Festival, The Blue Ridge Theatre of Virginia, the chamber choral group VOCE in Northern Virginia, and has performed chorally as a section leader with the Baltimore Choral Arts Society. Ms. O'Bryan has a Master of Music from Westminster Choir College of Rider University (NJ), her Bachelor of Arts from Ferrum College (VA) in Fine Arts and Education, and her teaching license in music and special education K-12. She is a special education learning support teacher at Lincoln Charter Elementary School in York and teaches piano and voice lessons with Experimental Movement Concepts, Inc. in New Freedom, PA.
