Kathyrn McDonald Soprano

Kathryn McDonald, a soprano, has been singing with opera companies and choral groups in the Central Pennsylvania area since 2006. In addition to performing with Opera Lancaster in the choruses of Cavalleria Rusticana, Suor Angelica, and Pagliacci, she also performed the role of “Lola” in Cavalleria Rusticana this year. She has sung in the choruses of The Magic Flute with the Harrisburg Opera, and La Traviata and Pagliacci with The Capitol Opera. In addition to participating in various opera companies, Kathryn is a singing member and the Vice President of the Harrisburg Choral Society. She has also recently performed Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with both the Harrisburg and York Symphony Orchestras. Kathryn currently studies with Gwendolyn Bowers of Palmyra.
