Jonathan Spuhler, baritone, graduated from the Ohio State University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s in Music for Voice Performance. Roles include: Masetto in Don Giovanni with the Martina Arroyo Prelude to Performance summer program in New York City, Dancairo in Carmen with the Akron Lyric Opera, Mercutio and Friar Lawrence in Romeo et Juliet and Figaro in The Barber of Seville with Opera Columbus’s outreach program, Bellomy in The Fantasticks with the Columbus Civic Theatre, as well as chorus roles in The Merry Widow, La Boheme, La Cenerentola, The Pearl Fishers, Pagliacci, Turandot and Romeo et Juliet. Mr. Spuhler is honored to debut with Center Stage Opera as Zurga.
